VISION STATEMENT
Philippians 2:15
Then you will be pure and without blame. You will be children of God without fault among sinful and evil people.
Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.
The world we live in is sinful and wicked. And this world is just about to get worse as time progresses and
our children grow older. And yet, God placed us in the midst of this world. God did not
choose to rapture us out of this world, but has decided to place us right in the middle of it until
He comes back. Whether we like it or not, this is the place where our children will thrive and make life
as they grow up. As long as they are living, they will be setting their two feet on this filthy soil
of the wicked world we are living in.
And this is how it is supposed to be. Read what Jesus says:
My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
They are not of the world, even as I am not of it (John 17:15-16).
God did not call our children to be living out of this world.
They are called to live a life that is not of this world, while they are still in this world.
And while they are still in this world, God is calling them to live a life that is pure and blameless.
Their call is to shine like stars in the midst of dark and evil world. God is calling them to be like
Salt and Light (Matthew 5:13-16). Their job is to slow down the decaying process of this world.
Their call is to light up the dark places in the world.
And we know how difficult and complicated this call is in a complex world we live in.
But our prayer is that we may be the parents and teachers who will not compromise.
We pray and seek that that every decision and teaching we make and do will
bring our children close to the Lord. We pray that our children will grow up to be the
pure and blameless generation who will light up the path and lead many to the Lord
Jesus Christ.
Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who
lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever (Daniel 12:3)
